I work for a metal fabrication shop. We make or repair items made of metal, large or small. When the new owner took over a few years ago, he was asking if anyone had ideas for a slogan we would use for the business. I suggested the following:
"You give us the business - we'll fix your wagon." He was not amused....
Hello Sue,
ReplyDeleteYour slogon name is cool. This is the first time I have ever heard of your compamy. if I heard your slogan I would have to inquire of what you meant by that. I would have to ask what types of things can you fix or even make from scratch. I personally think that they should have chosen it. So what slogan did they chose for your company?

Hello Sue!! You must deal with a lot of crap from the guys at work. : ) To answer your questions I am currently a manager at a local pet store. We are going through some managerial switches and such. It's a little hectic at my store recently. It's a very nice job but I am frusterated with it right now. I guess you could say I have it together. I have just learned some serious life lessons and have decided nothing can stop me from reaching my goals. We should all learn how to push forward and never tell ourselves we can't. You can do anything you put your mind to. I am a living example of change for the better. Thank you for your nice comment! I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Rebecca, I need to explain me slogan to you. You may be too young to understand what I meant by it. "Giving him the business" and "Fixing your wagon" are both terms for settling a score. For instance, if a guy stiffs for a bill, you might take him out back and "give him the business" or take a few punches at him. "Fix your wagon" is basically the same thing. If you do something bad to me, I will "fix your wagon". This is the reason the boss was not amused with my suggestion! Ultimately, I don't think they ever really picked out a slogan, but they still toss some ideas around now and then. :)
